Recognizing that God has blessed us to be a blessing, God's Grain Bin serves to share the overwhelming abundance God has showered on us with those in need in our community. It is our intention that they receive not only food for their physical hunger, but generous portions of kindness and grace to feed their spiritual and emotional hunger. 

Our motto, "We'll stop when hunger stops", shows our true purpose. To feed those who cannot feed themselves. We are a non-profit food pantry that seeks to lift the burden of hunger off our community one box at a time. 

The God's Grain Bin founders dedicated their lives to fighting hunger in their community. Beginning in a small garage, they spent countless hours and days giving and offering all that they could to their community. From the very beginning, the founders understood that through dedication and faith they could put a dent in the ever-growing need for food in the Henry County community. The Wife of the founder Steve Slocomb named their food pantry God's Grain Bin and forever created a place where God's people could use God's resources to put an end to hunger in their community. Throughout the following years, God's Grain Bin has grown to a size that the founders could only thank God for. They now have many contributors and donators, but they also have many volunteers. This could not have been done without the careful and all-powerful hand of the Lord.  

To this day, God's Grain Bin continues in their mission to end hunger, and more importantly they continue to trust the Lord to provide for the needs of His people. They utilize their resources, and their money wisely and always remember that everything they have and can accomplish comes from the Lord. God's Grain Bin has been a blessing from the beginning for the Henry County Community, and through the careful care of our board and through your donations and time we are able to continue to be this blessing. God's Grain Bin thanks everyone throughout their history for the prayers, time, and money that have been given. Let us continue to end hunger together one day at a time, all while trusting the Lord for his endless care. 

God’s Grain Bin is run by our board of directors. Our President is Mr. Owen Wyant, Treasurer is Mr. David Hall, and Logistics Manager is Ronald Davidson. They are the ones who work together with donors and sponsors to provide the food and money needed to be able to provide for our community. They are the backbone to the God’s Grain Bin operation.  

God’s Grain Bin also relies heavily on our incredible volunteers. It is through their incredible dedication that we are successful. There are various categories of volunteers. We have weekly volunteers, who come and give of their time on a week-by-week basis. They participate in building boxes, maintaining a clean work environment, and organizational needs. We also have walkthru volunteers. These are the volunteers that give of their time on the walkthrus. They help us through greeting the clients, building carts, loading the carts into the cars, and checking people into the office.
